I've read several good books by scientist on the subject, which given the lack of testable evidence, usually ends with a 'we don't know and might never' conclusion. Which I am fine with, because these books usually bring up lots of intriguing points to consider along the way regarding the UFO phenomena with its various impacts on society, culture, religion and philosophy as the belief in continues to increase, and now many view it as a 'when' not 'if' question. But every film, documentary, or show on the subject seems to be just filled with wild speculation, and only focused on one possible explanation being extraterrestrial visitation across space/dimensions by physical beings, or on the skeptic side refuting just that one concept. Are there any documentary, film, or television show that seriously consider an alternative theory regarding the UFO phenomena being something else entirely, such as some sort of paranormal explanation, a government or other group hoax, or as some sort of social phenomena impacting the way civilization defines reality?

Yeah, Richard Doty was a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations. I meant he was shitlording by how he feed disinformation to people in the 'factual' publishing UFO community of the 60s through 90s, who frankly deserved to be targeted somewhat. A lot of them were bullshit artist looking to make a dime off people wanting to believe in extraterrestrial visitation, much like the Ancient Aliens hacks television show of recent years. It was funny to see conmen get conned themselves in that respect.
