Ok let rephrase that, people are offended by things Trump says. My point isn't whether he says is right or wrong. But it is his job to try to get voters, and the things he says turns people against him, whether you like it or not. If he would get on message and not shoot from the hip when the speaks, he would get those votes. He already had the "shoot from the hip" supporters, they aren't going anywhere. But if he pivoted to a more refined, professional campaign, it would be easier to sway those Bernie voters. America is full of corn fed, t.v. watching, consumer sheep, and in the long run they are gonna vote for the person that looks like the politician they are used to seeing. And just like you and your kind that see no flaws in Trump, their is an army of brainwashed dolts that will never see any problems with Bill and Hillary. I personally don't care for either of them and I think a large percentage if not a majority of Americans have the same opinion. If Trump acted more polished his voters would understand his need for doing so, and he would lure in more voters. Trump fans don't like hearing it and they think I'm insulting their dude, but this the truth of how to get elected in a presidential election, like it or not.

That is a solid point. What sold me on Trump was his policies, but he doesn't use that nearly enough in his speeches. The smaller, city to city tour speeches are a lot better. He pulls out a 10 year timeline of what's been happening in that area. I've never seen a politician know/care that much about the struggles of that area, let alone every area on the tour. Normally just regurgitate the same generalized speech over and over.

But yes, I wish he'd get a bit more controlled with his mouth.

Yeah, my whole point wasn't to judge the man himself, but to point out that he isn't playing the game right. No matter how much of an outsider non politician he is, he does have to play the game a little so the zombies that vote can get a glimpse of the kind of candidate they have been trained to vote for.
