From the perspective of an SJW, a microaggression is something that on the surface may seem harmless but is actually an implied attack. An example would be asking an asian woman where's she's from, implying that because she's asian she's not american.
In reality a microaggression is a way of making a mountain out of a molehill, using a imaginefying glass to imagine aggression and offensiveness where none exists. A microagression is in that sense, in the mind of the beholder - if you have a chip on your shoulder, a glance, tone of voice, posture, or even the word "hello" can be a microaggression. It's utter bullshit.
That's all it is. It's manufactured outrage. If you're someone they want to be offended by, then they can make up anything you do as a microaggression.
The sad thing is that this overreaction masks the actual aggression that people suffer from every day. These pretend aggressions are as bad as false accusations of rape making actual rapes seem fake. It cheapens the entire conversation.

Well put!
With a little bit of hyperbole, one can use a microaggression as a metaphorical bridge to make their enemy literally, just like Hitler.
