Everyone should be free to say and believe whatever they want without fear of violence from others. You can literally replace white supremacists with any other group of people and the answer will be the same.

neither. They should be treated the way they are now. Have the police keep an eye on them to make sure they don't try to overthrow the govt., commit terrorist attacks, etc. and let them have their little play area where they aren't bothering anyone.

Can't agree with this whatsoever. It is the government influencing people's views and that's wrong and is abused. If you have actual information that some attack is being planned, which is a crime itself, then an investigation is warranted, but otherwise they should be treated as completely equal, free, and presumed innocent people. Freedom requires giving people the freedom to do harm to others. We have a justice system in order to deter them and punish those proven guilty of crimes.

Do you have the same belief for black people and immigrants ?

[–] oedipusaurus_rex 5 points 2 points (+7|-5) ago

Except for the fact that white supremacist groups are more likely to commit a terrorist attack than a bridge club, or book of the month club. White supremacists are more likely to have an axe to grind with specific groups of people, whereas most people are casually racist, not actively racist. It would be just as negligent of the government to not watch white supremacist groups as it would for them not to watch 1st and 2nd generation Muslim immigrants.

oedipusaurus.... you are right. Except for one thing.

The police state DOES keep a close eye on these White Supremacist groups. The KKK is lead by federal infiltrators who were promoted to their positions from within. Do you honestly think that White Supremacists are a problem in the USA? White Supremacists are a very, very tiny minority. There are no riots....there are no cities burning down because of White Supremacy.

Your comment is correct, but it disavows the current state of affairs in this country. The problem is NEGROES. Some of them are great....some of them are smart....some of them are Americans. But the vast majority are primitive people who SHOULD HAVE THE EYE OF THE POLICE STATE kept upon them. THEY are the potential terrorists....THEY are a clear and present danger. Not the white supremacist living in a trailer park.... the nigger burning down your city.

I do agree that the Black Panthers need to be watched because they are a national socialist organization, but that's about it as far as I know. Maybe I'm misinformed, but it seems like a bit of a stretch to say that black people are as likely to commit terrorism as white supremacists or 1st and 2nd generation Muslim immigrants.

I mean it wasn't that long ago that they were lynching people right? Like, you still have to keep an eye on people who want to eliminate (kill) people based on skin colour. Can you actively entice violence in the states? Like, freely advocate to say, kill all black babies? Is that legal?

If you have evidence that any of them have murdered anyone you should hand it over to the authorities as soon as possible. If not then I hope someone is keeping an eye on you too.

It's mostly legal, but as soon as you get too specific it's illegal. I can say "kill all niggers" but I can't say "Get Billybob and Earl, we're gonna have a coon hunting party tonight. Bring your guns" or "If you're listening to this, get your gun out and shoot the nigger next to you"

Dude... read the facts about lynching history in the US before you comment. Otherwise you sound like a radical, 18-yr-old, stupid black girl.

You say "white supremacists" like that is an intrinsic part of their identity, but that's wrong. They're just people. They're people who believe in the idea of white supremacy. An idea censored is an idea that can't be disproven or exposed as bullshit. Censoring people who hold bad ideas means they'll continue to hold those ideas and spread them quietly.

Yes they should be protected, because they're people and people deserve police protection. I don't know what you mean by baked in the oven, but if you think something is a bad idea, then put in some work disproving and exposing it. Nobody gets any morality points by making the government police ideas and beliefs.

OK.... well said. I can't argue with you because what you say is true.

But shouldn't we have an open discussion on this topic in the MSM? After all... there are points made on both sides of the issue that are considered to be taboo.... Censorship is wrong in a free society.

The msm doesn't discuss or resolve anything, they don't teach and they don't learn. They just sensationalize whatever's making their nips hard this week and then move onto something else before anyone gets a chance to think about it long enough to form their own opinions about it.

Trying to advance a narrative through "public awareness raising" makes people feel accomplished without accomplishing much of anything. It's far more important that individuals fulfill their civic duty of being well-informed citizens than to just get lots of people to talk about something a little bit.

The super rich are a tiny minority in this WORLD. Should not that tiny minority be protected from lynch mobs, prosecution or other form of redress?

It is a little known fact that 50% of the White Supremacist leaders since the 1970's have been Jewish. The movement is a shill to discredit White hegemony, White solidarity and White self determination. White Supremacy is harmful to White people and Western Civilization. It should be discredited for exactly what it is; a movement against White people.

Nationalism or Western Heritage Movements are based on love of your people and culture. They do not judge any other culture and simply seek to make Western Civilization better.

I'll tell you this, Scientia.... Growing up (60s in Brooklyn) everybody belonged to a group. It was mostly Italian and Irish. Due to the liberal left, I've come to think of people as belonging to 3 different races: White...Black...Asian. Mexicans are white.

Most 'white supremacists' are not actually white supremacists. I know what people are doing in calling them such and it does have some descriptive value along with being a smear but I know what white supremacy is and has historically meant in the US and I prefer precision in terminology.

I'm what many would call a 'white supremacist' though. Not that I give two shits if they do so on an anonymous forum somewhere.

That said, ex-FBI agent Michael German who spent 16 years infiltrating white racialist groups basically says it is a waste of time monitoring these people:

What I found among the criminal underground was that they were often frustrated by the ideology because particularly in white supremacist groups, there are a number of different ideologies.

In other words... White Supremacy groups are not a threat to the federal government.... In his own words, a federal agent states such.

You know what group of people ARE a clear and present danger to this country? Read your own link.

Umm, did I miss something? I'm pretty sure white supremacists (and pretty much everyone else under normal circumstances) are protected from lynch mobs.

I meant it metaphorically. "White Supremacy" is lynched publically on a daily basis in the MSM and in our public schools.

Everyone in this country should be protected against violence, no matter who they are. Young, old, black, white, purple or blue, it's a simple concept.

Even racists?

[–] Bobsentme 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

A racist is someone with extreme views (by today's standards, anyways. Back in the old days, they were the standard way of thinking).

If we stop protecting those with extreme views, vocal or not, then we have to draw a line on what an extreme view is and what a normal view is. If we start doing that, then we become thought police, which is wrong on multiple levels.

So yes, racists are, whether you want to admit it or not, people who should be protected against violence, whether you agree with them or not.
