I just came to talk about this, because I saw a doxxing post in /v/TooPersonal and that sort of thing seems out of line to me, even though it may not specifically be illegal. I think that's probably the only non-illegal thing I don't approve of since it can lead to harassment so easily.

Yeah Atko got back to me pretty quick and said it's a police issue and they'll comply if contacted. I see this as an easy route to paint Voat as bad though, because like the other chan sites people will start pointing to it as a place that "promotes" harassment and doxxing.

Obviously mods can handle most subs on their own, but actual verses run for the explicit purpose of doxxing need an admin touch. (that one I linked is very explicit about what they're doing in the sidebar):

a subverse for sharing others' personally identifying information along with their nude pictures and videos.
RULES

-every post title must include a real name.
-every post's title text must be preceded by a specific [location] tag. Ex: [Gainesville, FL]
-post comments must include a link to the subject's Facebook account for verification.
