Ummm...isn't laziness and apathy supposed to cause people using less lights?

I just moved into an apartment where the residents are too lazy to close the breezeway door, probably wasting $10-$20 per month on each unit's electric bill, and they park with 6-8 feet between cars and then wonder why there isn't enough room to park all their cars. It's affecting my worldview.

I live in a building where electricity is included as a flat rate, so people in large apartments can afford to leave three air conditioners going all summer days when they are not even home and run expensive electric heaters going all winter so they can leave their balcony doors open but still not be cold, yet everyone complains when management wants to raise the utility fee by $2 to $3 monthly.

For me, a lamp broke and I'm to lazy to replace it.
Strange how it can work in both ways.
