Because you specified so in your question.

But what do you mean with the amount of light equivalent to Sunlight would shine on the sun. Do you mean the amount of light emitted now by the sun, or the amount that hits earth?

Imagine if Sun was a close binary with one star being normal and the other one is the one that doesn't emit light.

probably a part reflection + a part absorption by the particles on that dead sun. But we need more data to give a definitive answer
