What makes reddit any different from any other online forum that has existed since at least the early 90s? Basically reddit is just an aggregated forum topic platform put in a package for marketing/advertising purposes. Voat isn't like that at all and is just an aggregated topic platform. Neither idea is unique or anything revolutionary really.

The coding here is much better. Can't stand Reddit. i have bad eyesite so I magnify the screen quite a bit (most browsers it's ctrl-mouse wheel).

Voat behaves very well. Can't see the right had info but it's more important to see the main 'payload' .

On Reddit the main 'payload' text gets larger but it's space is tiny. You ger only a few words per line.

Functionality wise, it's pretty much the same. The difference are small things like no down voting until you have 100 contribution points, limited upvotes until you have 20 contribution points and yeah, a little thing called freedom of speech, so no platform dictated censorship.
