I wasn't paying attention the past 10+ years to the atheists' crusade and what was being said online but wow. They couldn't see IRL worship coming?

They couldn't see IRL worship coming?

I think it's actually what they prefer as an alternative. Instead of worshiping God they idolize some celebrity, musician or artist. Religion is something of a societal glue, and people rally around an idea they can share. Unfortunately, part of the idea of this idolization of random nobodies is them standing for nothing, which in turn means they fall for anything.

Idk if you down voted me or not but I'm taking into account what you're saying. I just sort of assumed that people, ya know, thought that I was taking history into account too.

I mean, worshipping irl people has been available 100% of the time throughout human history. And specifically that is what didn't work - which is what lead to actually unworldly dieties.

Humans DO NOT get to chose to avoid religion. If atheists pretend to themselves beliefs in unworldly things don't exist it immediately and proportionally manifests itself on other places, and as is overtly happening it seems to manifest itself with everyday superstitions. The majority of men today worship women, as literally as it can get. Well men and women worship celebrities; they've even started electing them as politicians and celebrating about it. And it makes people generally more positioned, and therefore receptive, to the poison of liberalism.
