The point is they're professional wrestlers. Kurt Angle is the prototype: rise up through the amateurs, win the Olympics, join the pros. That's how it used to be in hockey, too, until one day they decided to put pros in there instead of amateurs.

Not all of them got there that way. Those that have wrestled through college or something as I believe is the case with Brock Lesner would be much better served by that experience than anything they’ve done in the WWE.

I’d argue that they don’t wrestle professionally at all. They “wrestle” professionally. It’s performance art.

Well, have you ever looked at the name of the company that owns your local team? Mine's "Canucks Sports and Entertainment". Maybe that "entertainment" is telling you something about professional sports? Maybe it's "hockey" at that level?
