The only ID needed is a drivers license . Checking those picture IDs against a register list should confirm that the person can vote. Do you think that illegal aliens care enough about voting to risk coming in contact with the government in any way! Only half of Americans bother to vote in a well attended election. Illegals just don’t care as much as you imagine.

A friend of mine is a political science professor. She studies voting patterns. I asked her about all of the Puerto Rican’s moving to Florida after their hurricanes. Would they effect the election. She said that their voting patterns in the past have been to vote about evenly GOP and Dem for the first election. They just don’t think in those terms like mainlanders do. They tend to support candidates that speek their language and that have Spanish sounding names, after an election or two they figure things out and become democrats.

For the last thirty years I lived and worked with a lot of immigrants. Philippinos tend to be very pro gun, law and order, conservative religious people. I was always surprised when I met people who came from countries with authorial leaders. Most of the time they said that the thing that America needed was stronger police and leaders. They thought that things were much too lax and easy on people that they thought were not “ good” people.
