I also saw the 22yr old. I guess that is a milestone? What's the average span for a horse?

It's 25 and I believe it's usually 25-30 years.

My best memory on a horse, was a school camp. I got so bored with the slow trail walk I managed to break away into an actual gallop, it was awesome and surprisingly smooth once you got the rhythm.
Unbeknownst to me, the rest of the pack behind me blindly followed. So many terrified screaming children.
I will never forget the shout of surprise from the trail guide as I blitzed past with the rest behind me.

weird I raised horses for a decade and a 28 yr old at the barn was about the same as a human passing a century. I think you're a bit generous. is this a roan?
