This is an odd way of looking at bees, though. I'm not sure the concept of oppression occurs to the bees. It's not like the worker bees are trying to plan a revolution against the evil queen. They simply play a role in their societies as mindless drones.

In other words, what does a bee have to gain from political ambition? If they were naturally ambitious it would be counter to the uniform "hive mentality" for which bees are known. Then all the bees would compete to supplant the queen with their own genetic stock. It would be anarch-bee!!! (I'm so sorry)

It seems natural to personify a bee colony's hierarchy, but I dont think it makes much practical sense.
