First matches impressions:

To add, I rightly predicted that /v/ would win, and I wasn't surprised by /argentina/ winning either. What I was surprised by was that close match between /pone/ and /pol/, along with the even closer match between /gghq/ and /sp/, vidya versus meatspace. But the thing I was most hype for was /christian/ versus /SomethingAwful/, even though /christian/ crushed with a 5-2 victory. Here's to a riveting quarter-finals.
