The difference between the IRA and the 'Minutemen' is that the IRA had international sponsorship, they were armed and funded by the USA, Gaddaffi and more; they had the support the jews in the media around the world and many of the police and political leadership were sympathetic towards them. The IRA's desires aligned perfectly with those of the jews and numerous anti-British, anti-Nationalist (it might sound weird to say the IRA were anti-nationalist, but they were; they were led by globalists) and anti-Imperialist factions around the world; and as such they had a lot of resources and were able to get away with an awful lot of things due to people looking the other way or being paid off. The 'Minutemen' pose a threat to the establishment; their desires only align with those of Nationalists (which is pretty much just us), and as such you should not expect it to be anywhere near as easy as the IRA had it. The whole world is against you glorious bastards; the IRA had the whole world on their side.

That is very simplistic.

The IRA did receive support from anti-Zionists like gaddaffi but not that much. Just extra explosives and AKs.

They also received support from Irish in the USA but not from the government. The best thing that the US government did was broker a peace treaty with them and the Brits because Clinton wanted to look like he was a master of diplomacy.

As for their views aligning with those of the jew, not really. They were pro-Palestine and their "globalism" is simply a strong anti-imperialism stemming from their rabid hatred of everything English.
