Very amateur analysis. The type of round matters a whole lot, as well as the powder load. Assuming more or less normal loads, any full metal jacket or tungsten core (the SS109 older shitty armor piercer the US uses extensively) round will pop pinholes in it's targets–so that is what to anticipate. That doesn't restrict how it is employed. The basic hammer pair causes hydraulic shock in the wound area, meaning it expands the wound CAVITY created when the target is shot through. Sometimes even the armor piercers can enter one area of the body, zip along bones, and exit some completely other fucking area. Rounds can skip off of skulls and helmets, although the higher the power, the less likely it is to occur. Ranger also affects power at impact (obvious, but needs mentioned). More advanced CQB kill courses will train you to put multiple round groups of multiple rounds into an enemy (an actual trained, skilled, equipped enemy) to create what is called "massive hydraulic shock" and collapse the target completely without being stupid and waiting on the dead man's 10.

In other words, stop pulling stupid shit out of your ass and go fucking study this shit for a decade or two seriously if you want to win. Nigger.

M193 is pretty much good to go I think, if you can't get soft point.
