They clearly showed their will to go to war by breaking the Ten Year non-Aggression Plan formerly signed between Germany and Poland under Marshall Pilsudski.

You mean the one Hitler revoked on April 28th?

That and the warmongering and provocative speeches held by Polish authorities.

Made in response to German ones.

If one will claim the official declaration counts as identifying the starter of a war, then you need to consider Britain and France as starters.

Maybe so, but if we're interested in truth we'd look at both German and Polish provocations. Not just Polish ones.

I've criticized Polish stubbornness but let's not pretend that Hitler's shit smelled like roses. Remember, just one month before Hitler broke his non-aggression pact with Poland he had invaded and annexed Czechoslovakia in violation of his own promise to respect Czech sovereignty.

You know, up until then it was pretty clear that Hitler just wanted a German state for Germans. But then he annexed a nation that was not German after promising not to.

I want you to ask yourself; How does this look to Poland when Hitler comes to them demanding not only German land back, but a corridor 1 kilometer wide across yoru own land in exchange for Hitler's "promise" (for real bro) to respect Polish borders… and then he breaks his own non-aggression pact with you. What would you do? Just hand over your land for nothing?
