There is a shortage of extreme high end people with 20 years of experience, but that's probably true in just about every field.

Care to tell people here about the India experience scam?

Basically, for about 10-15 years STEM haven't been hiring US graduates. They waited for the Indian ones to go back to India and pick up the required "1-2 years of experience in X" working for uncle pajeet and come back and take literally all the STEM jobs.

American companies refused to hire Americans, because they refused to train them, because it was cheaper to have Indian companies provide on the job training.

My experience is that people would try to hire pajeets who lived in rapistan to do their projects. The poo handler would bid $5k for a $50k job. 6 months later the client would come back to me with the spaghetti code the pajeets sent them. Most of the basic functions would work, like logging in. "Advanced" functions like password reset wouldn't work. I'd tell them it would cost more to fix the shit they got than to start over. The code from the pajeets was the kind of thing anyone with 2 wks of classes could write.

I dont have direct experience with the big places like google, but I could see the quality of their products degrade year by year after they started with the diversity hires.

crappy code

That doesn't change who they hire. They keep throwing it at the pajeets until it kind of works. It's just like with chinese crap. People don't learn their fucking lesson, "oh, this crappy screw driver broke, guess I'll buy a quality US one" they just buy another crap one, and are just as fucking surprised when the damn thing breaks - again.
