I've worked for major video game companies, and other fortune 500 companies as a software engineer, and have been told that I have lost job opportunities because I am a white male. Its almost impossible to get a job if you are a white male in software engineering these days. I'm in the process of transitioning to working on installing turbine engines in power plants though, so thats kind of neat.

yeah the F500 globalhomo companies are still gay for pajeets. However there are tons of small / midsized companies (regional banks, car dealerships, oil field supply, etc) that willingly hire whites

true. I am in a position to advise young men regarding careers, and I always advise them to avoid F500 type companies whenever possible. Globohomo expects 100% loyalty and dedication from its employees on and off the clock. But when it comes time for them to reciprocate, say the company had a bad year, they'll lay you off in a heartbeat. All the blood and sweat you poured into the company means absolutely nothing.

In a small company on the other hand you have the opportunity to become too valuable to fire. It's also much more satisfying work because your labor has a salient effect on the company, instead of just doing a small part of a much bigger piece of work.

if you learn how turbines work and are able to maintain/repair/build them, you will have an endless supply of employment. theyre used everywhere and most dont even realize it.
