Since we got so many codeautists here, let's say you're making an app that can help our little community, how exactly do I show it off when done without being called glow in the dark CIA nigger and getting saged into hell ?

That's not the problem with developing non-mainstream programs and websites. There are SJWs, commies, etc that do nothing but sit on social media all day long. As soon as you look a little to the right, they swarm you and call you Nazi, etc. They will then start digging into your history and trying to find anything they can on you to either

get you fired

ruin your social life

make you look like an idiot (top Alinsky tactic)

If you are genuine and can prove yourself over time, image boards will accept you. It's strictly merit based, but because they are so open and free, everything is treated with skepticism first and then once trust is earned they may open up if your idea/software/etc is good enough to stand on merit alone.

If you were to try making a gamergate website three years ago and posting in the #gamergate hashtag on Twitter about your site, you would be swarmed by SJWs calling you a nazi, saying you hate women, trying to "dox" you, etc. Then they attack everything that you need to keep your website/software alive. Domain registrars, hosting, etc. There's definitely a culture of fear surrounding leftists on the internet, and I know there's lots of talent out there who could make really great websites, but they don't want to deal with crazy unemployed commie retards who think they know everything.

Math is just basic logic represented with logic. Programming is basic logic represented with far more abstract things. It all revolves around logic. The more you can get, the better, because math and programming are extremely similar if you're doing any sort of programming beyond basic CRUD type bullshit.

I actually do want to do programming. Learn how things work and learn how to fix/correct them anyway. I just wasn't sure what to refresh myself on since I don't remember a lot from school. But I'll go ahead and continue as I initially intended and go from there. Thanks anon.

with numbers

Not all math uses numbers. For example category theory does not use numbers yet it has very useful applications in programming as we want composable solutions.

I'd recommend learning Racket. https://www.htdp.org/2018-01-06/
