Because the hardest you can go as an American "conservative" is hearkening back to the revolutionary liberal ideology of the Foundation, which was an offshoot from Europe inspired by the same ideological ferment, secret societies and merchant meddling that provoked the French Revolution, and the most hardcore Puritan and Calvinist elements in Christianity that rebelled against the Catholic tradition and fled to the New World. The American idea of conservatism is anti-traditional, materialistic and demonic, and everything since has just been the logical follow through of those same revolutionary ideas, now completely out of control. There is no far-right in America because there is no far-right in the American tradition. Anything genuinely traditional is by definition anti-American and so will always be impossible for the vast majority of the population to accept, any truly far-right movement would have to be intensely anti-American, it would need to want to reverse the revolution that founded the country and so it would be attacked on all sides and accepted by no one.

Maybe in the southern states where you had the retention of an aristocratic, anti-egalitarian and anti-technological element there was something that could have sprouted that would have been better than modern America, but that was annihilated and its territories and peoples crushed by the north.
