Yeah, TorrentFreak's "Top 10 Most Pirated Movies of the Week".

No joke. Pirates are a better barometer of popularity/quality than MSM/commercials/Youtube. Have been for two decades.

Honestly, it's been such a good barometer of quality, that I haven't even noticed the supposed dry spell of good movies everyone complains is happening.

Huh... that's so fucking clever, I'm mad at myself for not having thought of that. I check TPB's top movie torrents, every now and then, but it's skewed towards whatever the latest new MSM shit is, and is very quality-agnostic.

Yeah, I usually only pull the R5 releases or better. Not worth sitting through a cam or telesync, which rules out a lot of the first page of TPB, but has a tendency to make good movies rise to the top ("The Founder" and "The Endless" come to mind).
