Any big subreddit are unusable. Every now and the i. Comment in a default subs. Everything is a rule violation. Everything is autodeleted. Unless it's a chill sub with less than 100k users it's unusable.

niche subs are decent in general. Default subs are political and advertising machines.

I made an account not so long ago because of the niche ones I'm interested. At that time I unsubscribed from the most obvious ones news, worldnews, politics, etc. Every single time I clicked on a link that got me to some blog selling something, clickbait, or any other stupid shit, there it was: default sub.

It's funny that on reddit defaulting is a deathblow to a community. It goes from niche to facebook group all thanks to admins.

They are even trying to control WHO gets the most points it seems, I think it has to do with controlling who their 'stars' are, to prevent a pewdiepie-like event from happening again. So their algos are cucked just like the shitbags running the sites. That's why they stole his question.

Eh it's pretty easy to get top comment in the defaults. Just get there first and try not to say niggerfaggot

Extra knife twist: the twice gilded submission was made by a mod of that sub...

Sounds right. Mod banns and mutes you, juat to steal your idea for those sweet sweet imaginary points.

But sneakily by the mod using his alt and then he guilded the post himself to show everyone else how special he thinks they should think he is.

My experience was just like this, except everyone was talking like a pirate. Apparently it was Talk like a Pirate Day, or some such nonsense. Even the automod was doing it. I couldn't figure out why my thread was taken down, then it accused me of "scalywagging."

If you were scalywagging, I can see why they stopped you.

That's disgusting!

Talk Like a Pirate Day

September 19th, although I've never seen anyone ever follow it in real life, and it usually only affects a handful of online websites or video games, so I don't even remember it until after I randomly see pictures or videos of the various sites changing all of their language to pirate shit afterwards.
