Be dog

Never liked those shitty bones so buried them hoping the bag would run out.

Doesn't work

Concoct scheme to show owner don't like bones.

Leaves half of bone in broad daylight so owner has to see it.

Doesn't work. Bought more bones. Crams them down throat every day.

He's not home yet!

See chance.

Break bone in half and go to hide other half so don't get in trouble.

Meanwhile, six miles under Pyongyang, in a secret underground base, Kim Jong Un rubs his fat hands together.

"All is going according to plan."

Dogs are the mankind's best accomplishment. You can give them your spare time, your spare love, and they'll give you everything.

Sad story. I love dogs. Thinking back, the death of my dog was one of the most upsetting deaths I have experienced so far. I'm not sure there's any other creature on earth that can offer as much loyalty as a dog.

My dog was old, and one day he went missing. For two weeks my Dad and I searched for him in the evening. In a freak stroke of luck, a near-stranger randomly stumbled across his body while out walking. We'd have never found him if not for that man. Oddly, my dog had climbed a hill and died deep in a forest. Perhaps he knew his death was imminent. We were able to go up and bury him, which was a hell of a lot better than never knowing what happened.

I think I read somewhere that it's instinctual for dogs to go off and hide somewhere, when they know they're going to die. I guess they don't like upsetting you/the pack, by having to be a burden in death.
