Has anyone modified their c-stick? I find that mine gets difficult to use after five or ten minutes just due to the trace amounts of sweat on my fingertips.
I am considering taking a razor blade and slicing a "X" or "#" into the surface. If that didn't work, I might apply a tiny drop of super glue on the surface and rub some sand into it, with the goal of having the sand get glued into the slits I've just cut.
People on various forums have glued sandpaper, fabric, and leather to the c-stick, all claiming positive results.
One person glued together two guitar picks then drilled a hole the size of the c-stick, creating a smooth plastic ring.
Another person put a rubber band around their system, resting on the stick, but that's hardly a fix at all.
Has anyone tried anything? My main concern here is damaging the c-stick in a way that renders it even more useless. It would be unfortunate for a modification to not withstand use and eventually worsen the problem.

I let the glue cure for a couple days. Now I've done some basic trimming: if the piece works I'll bend down the pointy edges (very carefully as to not upset the glue) and glue the contraption onto the c-stick. Here's a shot of the underside and here's what it looks like in action.

The mod passed the cafe test. It's not the ideal fix, but it's a hell of a lot better than the c-stick alone. One thing I wish I had done was drill out the center of the washer ever so slightly. The metric-sized washer I used was a tight fit, and sometimes it popped off
(I never did glue it on).
