didn't take them long, fucking idiots.

why would anyone buy Nintendo consoles if hey just release a new one every six months? such an unstable environment is putting off consumers.

but hey, the New 2DS XL launches on July 28th!

I'm hoping that the Switch is what makes them get their act together, but lack of supply to meet demand puts a big check on that.

tbh there's no reason to get that particular one with the XL versions available. the extra screen is nice to have.

i disagree to a point. The non XL variant is not as cumbersome, plus not only does it also support amiibos right out of the box, (which the XL variants also have) but the face plate customization is pretty cool. If I am not gonna be able to get a used Japanese non XL New 3DS system, then I'll either settle with the 2DS XL, or have Amazon or Ebay searched for either the black Super Mario edition, or a still-unopened Animal Crossing, Happy home designer bundle box that includes a white system and two sets of face plates.

Fucking Bullshit! They should have at least waited a couple more months to completely discontinue imo.
