Online IDEs.. do they work for you? submitted by bufferoverflow to programming

zombieman 0 points 11 points (+11|-0) ago

In my honest opinion, I haven't really cared for any of them. In almost every case, I would rather use local offerings, simply because I do not always code when I can be online.

Depending on the device, it may or may not work with your browser well either (looking at you Surface RT).

I am interested in hearing others opinions on this subject, as I have been looking around for a good quality online IDE as well, if for nothing else just to use occasionally.

Best Video Game Sequels submitted by gniksivart to gaming

zombieman 0 points 11 points (+11|-0) ago

Half Life 2. It continued the great story, and brought forth a new source engine.

It was what really turned me into a gamer. I played doom and the like before, but HL2 made me the gamer I am today.

I almost feel bad being an Ernest Hemingway drunk.

Wait, this means I can have another, right?

Welcome to C# Subverse! submitted by deleted to CSharp

We all know C++ would win, it would just take twice as long to write the code for it :D

Although, it would catch up during runtime.

How we are improving Windows Store app catalog submitted by zombieshogun to windowsphone

This means I need to dust off the app I have been working on and get it ready for Windows 10 and the Windows 10 tablets (it is a mobile specific app). I am oddly looking forward to doing it.

Moderators & Talented CSS People Wanted! - Apply Within submitted by 5parro to Fedora

zombieman 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

Hello! I have used Linux for almost 20 years, and Fedora since Fedora Core (the first one that is). I know more about Gentoo than Fedora, but it carries over and I am willing to learn.

As for the list:

  1. I can help out daily
  2. I can contribute, as I am on Voat all the time (when applicable)
  3. I am mainly a C++ and C#/Mono dev, but my front end is also solid (I maintain the /v/simplegoats theme)
  4. I can tell everyone I see about it
  5. As I said before, I am stronger on the base of Linux, not just one distro, but Fedora is my choice of Distro. I also develop in C++ and C#/Mono.
