I'm surprised people have so much confidence that Hillary will fight for the common man and against wall street completely delusional.

1% of the 1% now account for 35% of the wealth held by the richest people. Wealth grew even more concentrated last year. Just two nations, the U.S. and China, drove more than half the growth submitted by TerriChris to news

Disproportionate wealth accumulation is not disturbing because it hinders others from becoming wealthy, its disturbing because it translates to a very small number of people wielding an enormous amount of power. Money is power. Particularly in America, where elections are funded by the ultra wealthy and businesses for their own benefit, not the people's.

Japanese sports cars from the 80s, like the Starion, while listening to the soundtrack of Miami Vice.

No but by his own admission in a later interview in playboy:

Trump says: “The stuff O'Donnell wrote about me is probably true."

And do you think higher rates of unemployment in minorities is due to laziness? I think this is an odd and over simplified stance to take. I suppose it's not really provable one way or the other, but having lived and worked in multicultural settings I can tell you the problem is far more complex than just those "lazy minorities" sucking down welfare. The odds are stacked against these kids from the start (partly because of these very kinds of sentiments - believing they are "lazy") and most of us are insulated from their reality so we really have no idea what it's like and the difficulties they face even getting hired in the most horrible of jobs we would never dream of taking. And getting education is a whole other matter.... Yes its possible, but the barriers are vastly different than for you or I (as a middle class white male).

And yeah USA might have been 'white' from the get-go, as in European white, but the point was to create a place for all creeds and colors. It's right there in the constitution. And maybe the white forefathers only meant it in a much more limited scope, like shades of white Christianity, but hey, too bad....this is not the 1700s any more. We have to evolve as a people and a country. We brought these people here and let them in - theyre here - so we have to deal with it. That's all I'm saying, and I don't think it is unreasonable. I'm all about preserving culture for historical purposes, be it white american, black american, cajun, Italian, whatever...but we can't keep clinging to the past. It's time to move on and get over all this non-sense.

And I will say what REALLY irks me, is the notion of whites and their institutions being "attacked". The self victimizing is just so sad and pathetic. So, so incredibly whiny. It's like a child having there toy taken away.

Just like Trump. Always finding some nonsensical excuse like his microphone was turned down, or the moderators were biased. Man the fuck up already and stop acting like some sad beaten dog.

Sure, I'll agree that maybe it shuts down discussion to use a blanket term like racist. But is this a discussion anyone should really have? It's ridiculous. It's a preposterous question to even ask. Anyone that would ask a question like this must live inside a very small bubble. Black people, Mexicans, etc are just as hard working as anyone else. Go to black communities and Mexican communities and look around you. They're struggling too, and they're just as part of America as anyone else. And they have the added difficulty of having to deal with this kind of shit.

We have to move beyond thinking as America as a white country. We're simply NOT. We have to move the fuck on and embrace it. Get over it... We can fuck each other till we're all one stupid race, and get over it, or we can devolve into a bunch of whining losers.
