I wouldn't say right wing, just more open. There isn't a hivemind like on reddit, and people can post their own opinions without being downvoated into oblivion for an unpopular opinion. They're not leftist over at reddit, they're just dicks.

/r/ShitRedditSays and /r/SubredditDrama insider leaks ongoing SJW op to flood /r/Voat with negativity in order to discourage redditor migration to Voat. submitted by frankenmine to MeanwhileOnReddit

Plus, tbh I'm not too concerned - I personally didn't even look at /r/voat before migrating here as it kind of defeated the purpose of moving away from reddit imo, and if the SRS subs don't want to come here and want to stay on reddit, that's more than fine by me.

We're not being manipulated into siding with them, it's a reaction to the previously violent anti-immigration talk, especially in the UK, that had created a very prejudiced view of immigrants in general amongst the British public. Now, there is a large anti-propaganda attempt from many corners to raise awareness of why a lot of these people, especially Syrian refugees, are fleeing to the UK. There's little manipulation going on, it's an attempt to get people to treat immigrants as human beings rather than numbers or statistics (I speak more in a general sense about recent media coverage of the European immigration crisis, rather than this article in particular).

To start with racism, it's intrinsically wrong to most people because it's a form of prejudice and persecution based on nothing more than colour of a person's skin, and about making massive stereotypical assumptions about them due to the colour of their skin, which is wrong because, firstly, the concept of 'race' has been scientifically proven to simply not exist - humanity is and always has been a continuum of variation, not divided into set groups or races - race is a social, not a scientific construct. To judge someone so dramatically based on something so artificial, and even persecute them for it, is why it's considered intrinsically wrong. To disagree with a black man's actions isn't wrong, but to disagree with his actions simply because you make (usually negative and degrading) assumptions about him because he is black, is wrong, as these stereotypes usually attempt to portray non-white races as some form of "less human" than white people, in my experience.

In a similar strain, antisemitism isn't action against the Israeli State, it's just a name for a form of racism against Jewish people. Many Jewish people disagree with Israel's policies, just as many agree - to call all Jews scummy because that state that claims to represent them does something stupid or immoral, is normally considered wrong, especially as its often led to violence against ordinary Jewish people who have never expressed support for the Israeli State or its actions, just because they are Jewish and people indulge their negative stereotypes.

In that case, give me a single scientific study in the last 10 years that proves that it is Biology that makes it the case. If you dislike their culture and their behaviour, that is a social idea - it's because of how they were brought up, not simply the fact that they are black. Why make assumptions on all Black people in America solely because of what is still a minority? Also, "blacks have something like 19% more testosterone and lower intelligence" - have never heard that before, and the science proves that it's simply not true (I'll look up the article) - humans are a continuum, not distinct races, so that statistic simply wouldn't hold up.

Also, downvoats are for spam, not opinions you disagree with.

Edit: Race is a social construct that was created to defend us from the unknown and as an excuse to subjugate those peoples we wished to exploit, just as the European Empires used the spread of Christianity as an excuse to create colonies all over the world.
