Stock evaluation can help get companies loans to expand their operation. Cutting corners to increase the bottom line to become eligible for more loan money may seem like a smart move to the management team. Plus it always looks good to finish the quarter in the black.
Oh and let's not forget all the lovely red tape employers have to go through to keep workers in the states.
