Don't be confused! The settings are all hard-coded in the script and often change, so it may be better to ignore them for now.
My plan is to create a tab on the account settings page where VES will allow you to configure it. Stay tuned :)

It may just be Atko. Lots of the Voat defaults are major topics or just the most popular subverses, but hopefully there might be some kind of poll or vote to add/remove the defaults from the list.

Maybe a "+" or "-" should be put in place of the upvote/downvote count? After maybe 10 upvotes or 10 downvotes it would switch from something neutral (like a "~" symbol) to a more upvoted or more downvoted indicator
