week 11 and week 12 are taper and race weeks so you don't want to repeat those. Instead I would take weeks 8-10 and repeat them after you finish the real 8-10. (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8a,9a,10a,8b,9b,10b,11,12). On 8a-10a do it as described in the book. On 8b-10b you should change the 7 min run/1 min walk to 9 min run/1 min walk. For Saturday you should change the mileage to 6, 10 and 11 respectively.

edit: looks like I was still short 2 weeks. If everything goes well (sometimes it doesn't) and you don't need to repeat any weeks I would put in a 8c and 9c which are 6 miles and 12 miles on saturday.

How many mpw were you running before the injuries? If you were at 50-60 mpw you will probably be able to get back there quickly. If it was 20 mpw then I'd follow the 10% rule.

"Ride it like you stole it".

I picked this one up from escape from Alcatraz and it is a little bit specific to that race. However, I find it works well for shorter races like this one. The race is so short that you shouldn't be pacing like you would on a long distance race. Go all out as if someone was chasing you.

Looks like I am a bit late to the party. I agree with the other two comments but would like to add one thing. You should pick a new goal. Previously your goal was "Finish C25k". Your new goal might be "Run 10 miles", "run a 7 minute mile", "Break a 20 minute 5k" or "Race a half marathon". It doesn't really matter what it is. Those were just some suggestions, yours might be something different. My point is, you should let your goal determine your next steps.

Why is this rare? Maybe a little larger than average but crashes happen every year. It's part of the sport. I'd provide sources but you can just check youtube.

Edit: I'm an idiot. Didn't even watch the video. I thought you were talking about this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMGahKyAlv0 This however is quite rare.
