My view as well; all this crap about "First Amendment!" is a smokescreen. Dancing is covered by the First Amendment too - would the owners be okay with their team jumping up, running onto the field, and dancing around as some kind of protest? No. Would they be okay with members granting interviews that consisted of "Fuck America!"? No.

The First Amendment guarantees certain forms of expression cannot be curtailed BY THE GOVERNMENT; employers can, do, and MUST restrict freedom of expression in a zillion ways (which is perfectly legal), because they are paying employees to WORK, not to express themselves.

It's not just the South; you should try living in the Midwest or the West or Northwest where people from California are moving in droves - due to all the problems their idiot policies have created in their home state.

You know, like welcoming and subsidizing hordes of homeless people...resulting in hepatitis epidemics from said homeless living and eliminating in the streets/parks/sidewalks. Or allowing unrestricted illegal immigration...resulting in mass displacement of US citizens in both territory and employment (and government benefits). Or pushing insane narratives like transgenderism in preschool, gun bans on "assault weapons" or high-capacity magazines or whatever other stupid gun laws they have. Oh and of course massive tax increases to pay for all the insane bullshit they feel they need to subsidize at others' expense.

in that it has attempted very little in the way of land grabs.

The fiat petrodollar global banking system eliminated the need for land grabs, in that it allowed the Federal Reserve and World Bank to underhandedly acquire "legal" ownership of a large portion of the entire world (real estate included) without messy invasions.

No nation that states publicly that it has the intention and goal of obliterating another nation should be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons

To me this is a silly idea; nuclear weapons are an IDEA, a technological innovation, like electricity or gunpowder or jet airplanes. When they were secret and technically difficult to produce it made some strategic sense to try to control and prevent their spread.

But the cat's long out of the bag, and despite the initial attempts to block the dissemination of nuclear weapons they have proliferated to around 10 countries; no "nuclear nightmare" scenarios have resulted despite all the decades of predictions to the contrary. Turns out no country wants to commit suicide by being the first to launch nukes.

Now North Korea may be an exception, but so what? They launch a single nuke anywhere - or even a conventional missile for that matter - and they will be wiped out. Same goes for just about any other nuclear country (though given the numbers of weapons, the US and Russia would be much more difficult).

For countries like North Korea, Pakistan, Israel, and Iran, obtaining nukes is a defensive move; they have very little offensive nuclear capability. To me the idea of the US (or UN) wanting to play 'global cop' and police every single country's internal technology/weapons' program is a total waste of time and money, and in fact an idiotic usurpation of the intent and content of the US Constitution.

What the fuck makes the right resist abortions and contraception when it's the left that want to put a stop to thier own ability to parent?

Many who are anti-abortion feel that way because they view it as murder - murder which is often funded by taxpayers.

If you study up on abortion you'll find that it often IS murder, with fully-developed babies born alive then killed after being removed from the womb, who are not-infrequently older than pre-term babies kept alive in hospitals.

Further, the majority of abortions are performed on repeat-customers who are too lazy or irresponsible to use birth control (never mind abstinence or sex only in a stable relationship, that's out of the question for most of today's liberated women).
