Hey Atko, one of the problems with reddit is that with 10-20 mods on all the major subs, there are hundreds of users who are well-positioned to curate content as they see fit. What I think would behoove /u/Atko would be to investigate the freedom of the internet on a country by country basis, with the operation being hosted by servers in whichever country is the least authoritarian in that respect.

That's great news. But apparently, if a federal agency wants to know who you're calling, when you're calling them, where you are when you make your calls, where the other person is, and how long you talked for, all they need to do is to to ask complicit telecom providers for your information.

I get that it's not fun to have a witch hunt coming for you, but including the username of the moderator making the removal would tend to make mods more selective in what they remove which, I think, is a good thing.
