Yep, like I said in another thread, it's very similar to how the Saturn was killed off. Looking at sales figures, the WiiU has been about as successful as the Gamecube (dividing the GC figures in half).

Kind of similar to what Sega did with the Saturn/DC in the 90's. Will be interesting to see what happens with the NX and if Nintendo can get back the third party devs they lost.
