This is like the the ultimate SJW mindfuck. Should they spread the word because it highlights violence against trans people, or try to suppress it because it reinforces the stereotype that black people are violent?

Disabled vet student kicked out of course because he wrote a critical post about feminism instead of one praising it. His professor complained to police that it made her feel unsafe submitted by Broc_Lia to politics

The professor gave an assignment to post on a tumblr blog, for a journalism class.

When said post disagreed with the professors values and includes references to statistics that support the students position. The professor claims the student is being disruptive and threatening.

Sounds pretty standard for an internet feminist. It's a shame this kind of activity is allowed in an educational institution.

Edit: OP linked the post. This is what had her so upset? It basically says "women are welcome to serve in combat rolls, but we should not lower standards for them" this is getting more ridiculous by the moment.

Suspended Cops Say Video of Them Eating Marijuana Edibles During a Raid Violated Their Privacy submitted by FreeSpeachRocks to news

their lawsuit argues that the officers thought they had disabled all of the security cameras at Sky High Holistic and therefore had a reasonable expectation of privacy

Without the illegal recordings, there would have been no internal investigation of any officer

This is on par with "I thought I disabled the security alarm, so I shouldn't be charged with B&E" or "I thought I killed that guy, so I his testimony should be invalidated". It's a complete crock of shit.

I actually support this. Getting kids out of the ghetto so that they don't stay in toxic communities seems like a pretty good way to try and enact meaningful change.

The kids will grow up with peers that don't encourage them to be a criminal. Eventually we my be able to turn a lot of people that would have been useless wastes of space, into productive members of society.

They will just need to be careful to spread these people out, to make sure the communities they are placed in are influencing them, and not the other way around.

Your city has been hit hard by a policy that is not going to take effect until 2016?
