I say good. Frivolous and perjured sexual assault claims are what erode the credibility of actual sexual assault victims, not the punishment for perjury. It is these numerous and maliciously false claims that will pointed at as examples that future claims lack credibility.

Remember the old story "They Boy Who Cried Wolf"? The lack of punishment for false claims wasn't the boy's undoing, it was the lack of punishment on the false claim that led the boy to make more false claims. It was because of the numerous false claims that his credibility was killed when he tried telling the truth.

Muslim Petitions To Cancel Oktoberfest In Germany As Munich Police Plan To Keep Refugees and Revelers Apart submitted by Ex-Redditor to Worldnews

Here's a well known example: Non-Muslim women who are visiting a mosque, such as reporters or politicians, will respect their host's rules and traditions of wearing some kind of head covering. They will do this regardless of their personal beliefs, religion or lack thereof, or that it may offend them because it infringes on their personal rights.

These people are not the majority of the population of Germany, nor are they even citizens of Germany. They are visitors and as such they too should be respectful of their hosts' rules and traditions regardless of their religious preferences. Why are they offended by something they are not required to participate in? Why can't they go do their own thing and let the country that is hosting them observe their own traditions? Why is it that everyone has to be respectful of them and their traditions when visiting meanwhile they don't have to reciprocate the courtesy?

True, the glyphosate is not food. However, it is getting into the food at a level beyond its herbicide use. That is the biggest concern. That is not throwing fear, but facts. I don't feel that it is paranoid to have more extensive testing before such things hit the greater environment. The lab is a controlled, isolated environment. Once it is in the greater environment there are no more controls. As evidenced by my examples, if there are unexpected, detrimental, far reaching effects, it is usually already too late and has already done extensive damage. It is one thing to be able to reverse and heal the damage, but it is far better to not do the damage in the first place. Not all damage can be reversed.

If it does become conclusive that glyphosate is the cause of bee colony collapse, all the bees could be dead by the time glyphosate is phased out of use. What else can fill the gap in ecology that bees fill, and I'm not talking about merely hand-pollinating crops. I'm talking about the big picture of their role in nature and that there are vast numbers of species of flora and fauna connected to the existence of bees.

People need to think beyond "quarterly profit results".

You assume things about me that are wrong. You tangentially imply that I am pro-holistic, pro-"natural food", and pro-pseudo-science which is absolutely false.

I am pro-caution. I am pro-science. I am pro-testing. Some unforeseen damages have already been evidenced as catastrophic on, literally, a global scale.

My position has not been shaped by anti-GMO advocates nor has it been shaped by pro-GMO advocates. Don't go speaking for me.
