What a competently misleading headline
In an effort to “preserve decorum and traditions” in the romantic canal city of Venice, local authorities have banned new kebab shops and other fast-food outlets from opening.
A law passed on Thursday will also limit shops selling pizza by the slice. Only shops selling artisanal ice cream will be spared from the measure, long championed by the mayor of Venice, Luigi Brugnaro.
In other words, no new fast food outlets - so why was the "kebab" shop singled out in the headline?

Windows 10 was the end of Windows for me. As soon as mainstream support ended and the nag screens started I downloaded openSUSE (Leap) and returned to Linux after leaving it for Win7 - I should have known better at the time, but....... meh, lessons learned and water under the bridge I guess.
I've since migrated from openSUSE to Mint 18 w/Cinnamon and remain a happy camper.
Tell me what your going to do once it happens.....
Your reasonable options are limited
- live with what Microsoft does, or
- move to a different platform
Your real decision is when you are going to make that decision.
Note that I do not consider the use of unsupported and/or obsolete operating systems a reasonable option.

Good. As someone who regularly has to dodge chunks of snow and pieces of flying ice on highways all winter long I have no sympathy for this guy what-so-ever.
Lazy drivers who endanger others because they couldn't be bothered to get out the door in the morning in time to clean off their vehicles properly and make it to their favorite coffee shop before work deserve none.
$240 is too light.

Why is the White male under constant attack?
We're not. There are simply those of our number who belong to the old guard and are unwilling to give up the privilege we've enjoyed for centuries.

Do ya feel better? Venting without substance is, like your angry little comment, utterly pointless.
Blaikie's point is that in order to succeed in today's politics any political party needs to be representative of the public it hopes to represent on all levels, and that they have failed to do that. It's a point that you either didn't pick up on, or chose to ignore - which was it?
Quite frankly I don't get the, 'oh, us poor white folks are being hard done by' mentality in this. It's simple demographics being acknowledged by a political party.

Dear Toronto Sun,
I am another "real Canadian " and while I find some of the changes I may have to make in order to be more environmentally responsible inconvenient they are changes I believe need to be made.
- the average Canadian is disabled, and
- The Toronto Sun gets to define who is and is not a "real Canadian".
