Protesting Video Games. Then and Now. submitted by Slayfire122 to gaming

Back then, most of the gaming press was on the side of the games, now it's the opposite. It's hard to say exactly why that is, but I blame a combination of the profitability of outrage clickbait and hiring practices that favor friends over talent (see the gamejournopros leaks), leading to an incestuous network of ideologically identical non-gamers writing about games at sites like kotaku and polygon.

Desperation from the SJWs at BuzzFeed: 12 Things You Can Do To Support The New "Ghostbusters" Movie Against The Haters submitted by XenoKriss to GamerGate

  1. Go see the damn movie.

I thought going to see a movie because of the gender of the people in it made you a sexist? Obviously that only works one way. I also note that the quality of the movie isn't even mentioned here.

  1. Make that theater as rowdy and supportive as a bunch of drunk girls in a bar bathroom, AKA the pinnacle of supportive funtimes. Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL became events known for women gathering in groups and very loudly and exuberantly crowding theaters with their joy. But I promise you, while I will never under-ride the power of the Magic Mike franchise, I know we can have just as much exuberant fun without the dudes.

Women are so wonderful that even acting like complete pieces of shit in a movie theatre becomes somehow positive and empowering when they do it.

  1. Lay waste to their childhoods with your joy. Dance through all the male tears.

Taking glee in women's pain makes you a monster. Taking glee in men's pain makes you a good person.

Zoe Quinn - Why I Just Dropped The Harassment Charges. submitted by pornhub_katie to KotakuInAction

"Silent and obedient"? She had the press of an entire industry blindly leap to her defence and vitriolically attack anyone who didn't do the same, she got positive coverage all over the mainstream press in general, she gave a presentation to the fucking UN, she brought a lawsuit against a guy who basically did nothing but accurately write about how she cheated on him. I could go on, but words practically fail me- this is like someone pissing on your leg and telling you it's raining, while continuing to piss on your leg. On a bright sunny day.

Shills Brigading Sub submitted by shillhunter to GamerGate

One downvote on posts for a few days constitutes a "shill brigade"? You must have a pretty easy life to think this is a problem.

Thanks for sinking exactly as low as I knew you would.

Yeah, just that and the mods of an "anti-censorship" sub using the sub stickies to attack users for their speech, brigading subs because you don't like their content, and generally using it as their own platform to stifle speech; and the image I posted of you banning a guy wasn't even me, it was middle_path. But yes, I care about people being banned for no reason, just like you claim to when it's not you doing the banning.

And hey, I thought you had some moronic point to make about replying? Guess you gave up on that?
