why are SJWs even a thing? why almost all of them are from USA? submitted by MushroomShaman to AskVoat

From my European viewpoint, America has a bit of a culture of everything being someone else's fault or responsibility. This exists everywhere of course, but it seems way above average imho. If everything is someone else's fault or responsibility, so SJW behaviour it is a natural extension:

Gays/Niggers/Immigrants/Democrats/Republicans/Rich people/White Straight Men are causing my problems and should be doing something about it, not me.

Not here to discuss if any of those are or are not valid, I'm saying, everything is about pointing blame, getting others to do something and what we should be doing about THEM / IT.

Can't we all just come together as people and hate blacks together?

Gun control is such a fun issue.

No matter what you say about it, giant loads of people will give you shit.

Personally I'd like to see an America where all weapons are legal at all times for anyone and concealed carry without any sort of license.

Mostly to see what would happen though.

We're All Being Pretty Quiet About Obama's Failures, Aren't We submitted by gramman74 to politicalnews

Calling him out on failures?

People on voat are calling him a traitor and terrorist conspirator that should be lynched,

so calling him out on failure would be a step down.

It's not really worth dealing with internet debaters with an outspoken opinion on "just how wrong you are".

Double so on things posted in the spur of the moment, or while drinking, or late at night.

You can practically hear the downvotes going 'NOOOO this time for certain it will be exactly as they promise while campaigning'
