Comparing Digg, Voat, Reddit

Notice how Digg was never that big compared to where Reddit is now.
But the uptick in Voat looks just like the uptick in Reddit, back when Digg was big and Reddit was small.

Keep away from Venture Capital. The only thing VC does is to impose an exit strategy at the end of a set term. For Reddit that was 10 years.

Disagreed. This reminds of Wikipedia which wants no ad money 'to remain unbiased' yet let admins overreach/edit articles/ban editors.

Reddit has hundreds of millions of pageviews per month. If Voat doesn't take those page views someone else will. Instead of seeing Venture capital as a threat, see it as a tool : Voat can choose what money they take from whom and on what conditions.

Nothing wrong with money, just be honest with how you'll run ads / partner content.

List of assigned /8 IPv4 address blocks from Wikipedia

This is a list of companies who each hold 16 million addresses. Among them, General Electric, IBM, AT&T, HP, Apple, MIT, Ford, Halliburton, USPS.

Companies like Apple or organizations like MIT don't need 16 million addresses, they could auction some blocks off.
