The struggle is real. About a year ago I realized how out of touch I was with current events.. I have tried to get caught up but will admit that I'm more confused than ever with all the shit floating around. Then I try and discuss things with people and end up getting beat down over something I don't even have a firm opinion on. Like dude, I feel you.. No one knows how to communicate anymore.

I mean I don't NOT see where you're coming from. I just kind of disagree. What do you think about globalization, do you think it's inevitable?

I agree with you, it probably won't curb it too much and I don't think Congress will approve a wall fund. It doesn't sound good, though, it sounds ridiculous. Everyone is so upset with these people coming over and mooching off America.. but the same people who support the wall, support shutting down Planned Parenthood and other sex ed establishments which leads to an astounding increase in unplanned pregnancies. Even if abortion wasn't an option, these clinics provide education and contraception that leads to a decrease in pregnancies and a decrease in STD/STI in the population.

0 I don't think it's that big of deal. I saw you commented elsewhere that personal attacks would not be allowed, so offensive attacks at people (using swear words or not) wouldn't be permitted and that's good. I feel like declaring one way or the other (yes or no to swearing) with no middle ground makes it kind of difficult, either way, there will be people who will leave the sub. Maybe you could look at it on a case by case basis - allow us to post and use swear words in our best judgement and if the community/you determine that it isn't appropriate, give us the opportunity to edit. I don't think swearing should get you banned even if you put that ban up - swearing is part of my everyday vocab and little slips shouldn't be harshly punished.

I didn't mean literally everyone. From my experience, though, those things tend to match up. And I just think it's all kinda hypocritical. We need less people in our country mooching off our government but we'll welcome unplanned pregnancies in our less privileged communities who will need government assistance.
