In another news he said he found the weapons somewhere like in a public park, and then had the idea to rob people. In France, we find AK 47, 9 magazines and hand guns on the ground :)

France issues a ban on Uber service after taxi protests submitted by ae to technology

It's been mentioned only one time for the moment, but that's a really important thing, if not the most one : the taxi licence is free. But by doing so that there's only a limited amount of taxi licences allowed per year, the taxi drivers just fucked everything up by themselves long ago.

Selling the licence had become a good way to do a nice sum of cash (150k€ and more) for those who were retiring. It was seen as really profitable, so many yound drivers just jumped on the train (if I can say so). And here comes Uber. But when I hear a taxi driver saying that he has 3500€ to repay PER MONTH, and then telling that he wants to work less to see his family...

.... dammit guy you knew where you were going. You must give back in one month a sum of money that I don't even earn in 2 months, and you earn enough to live over that sum. YOU decided to give your life to your car and to your bank, hoping to do like old taxi drivers did : repay your licence, comfortably earning money by driving your car without having to repay anything, and then selling everithing for something like 200k€.

I really can't be "pro-taxi" here, even if I disapprove the way Uber is dealing with its business. Someone like the president of the taxi union were asked what could be done to improve the situation. Long story short, this guy just complained about tons of things, never giving any suitable answer other than "ban everything".

Tsipras calls shock referendum submitted by reddisdead to EuroNews

For those who want a summary :

In a shock announcement on Friday night following an emergency meeting of his cabinet in Athens, Tsipras said that a package of austerity measures attached to a €15.5 billion bailout would be put to popular vote on 5 July. (...) Speaking in Brussels, German chancellor Angela Merkel urged the Greek leader to accept creditors’ “extraordinarily generous” proposals.

Nothing to add there, Germany is still the same...

A “No” vote would almost certainly see the country default on its debts and could likely lead to Greece becoming the first country to leave the eurozone. (...) Eurozone finance ministers are scheduled to convene at 2pm on Saturday. However, with Greece now almost certain to reject the offer

I guess it's better to stay in a bubble of lukewarm articles than to create and read clickbait articles from "european nationalists" that fit to my political ideas ;)
