Not necessarily. Takes a few minutes for blood to drain from the wound, the brain to shut down from lack of oxygenated blood, etc.

Shock kicks in very quickly though, as this shows.

While I definitely agree that distraction works, in this case I'm more reminded of Eric holder's comments on changing culture.

They want us to cease to exist. One way or another.

Guess it depends on what definition one uses for "genocide", but Stalin's actions qualify IMHO.

Political manipulation of intelligence is a problem, no matter which "justification" that politics is put to.

Reads more like the consumers of intelligence products aren't liking the product, so they're pushing for different analysis, rather than infighting. YMMV, though.
