Millennials that are thriving in this economy are those with links to rich parents: The vast majority of other Millennials are mired in debt and unable to purchase homes. submitted by doctorshady to news

Not neccesarily. For example, if a grandparent accumulated wealth and passes away, leaving the grandkids enough to get through a few years if the parents are nice enough to use it that way.

Source: Me. True to the point (cultural currency) but slightly different story. The point is that the wealth is built over a generation (or two) and those that haven't reaped the benefits over a time span are at a disadvantage.

Trans-Pacific Partnership Trade Deal Is Reached - NYTimes submitted by LagDragon to news

I just tried talking about this with coworkers and all I got were blank stares and shrugs. Not only is this above the layman, but also the educated, and even seemingly specialized people. Is there any public figure out there for us to get behind?

In the age of fluid gender identity, why should I give a fuck about "women's" rights? submitted by tiber to Showerthoughts

But then there are circumstances that will always be different for each sex. What about reproductive rights?

Its fair to say that women's rights are really just boiled down to human rights, but it also needs to be acknowledged there are differences between the sexes. Those problems needs to be solved under the umbrella of acknowledging the two separately before you can equate them fairly.

the exposure needed

Over the top witch hunting into subs that are private and accusing users that defend @she of being puppet accounts fueled by a conspiracy theory about an SRS take over. That is fucking embarrassing.

Sometimes, 7-8 men raped us in one daywe thought we were going to die, says woman rescued from Saudi diplomats home submitted by Abstentious to news

The issue that you're no longer sensitive to others pain? I'm not sure if other people can help you with that, it only requires empathy.

Edit: you're suggesting that a feminist advocacy group needs to convince you of the importance of rape (right?) I'm saying, no one can ever teach you that because it depends on your own sense of empathy.
