My phone still does. I don't need a smartphone that comes with its own fbi agent. Flip phones still exist.

“The mix of Afrocentrism, feminism, and high-tech gadgetry is irresistible. Black Panther’s team is so wonderful that I hate to think of it being dulled by the mostly white-bread Avengers,” wrote Vulture’s David Edelstein

What email would you recommend using? It's basically impossible to function without one nowadays.

The entire book was a racism metaphor, unfortunately. It's incredibly contrived, too. The elite families of "pureblood" wizards were all intermarrying and sneering at regular "mudbloods" because they come from mixed marriages between normal people and wizards. The amount of magic power you have is born into you, but also not hereditary somehow. But then again some magical powers, such as talking to snakes are. So only the "bad" powers are hereditary. Harry Potter is the first series that comes to mind where the villains were pale and blonde, and that's a pretty strong theme with many, if not most, popular works of fiction nowadays. Voldemort actually being part mudblood when he's obsessed with purebloods (sounds like a familiar historical rumor to me.)

I really loved those books a long time ago. They have convincing characters who deal with difficult situations and grow from them. I just can't enjoy the books anymore, though.
