Radiohead: Kid A crushed in brutally honest quick-review submitted by popculture to music

I think it sucks. Pretentious crap and the review sums my opinion about it. And this comes from a Radiohead fan who loves The Bends and OK Computer.

The full 4-hour version is the real deal. Just take the time, it is a great story!

I have and I find Det. Alonzo Harris nowhere as cool as Lt. Frank Bullitt.

Been a fan for 20 years now. The album that got me hooked on Rush was Counterparts. But my favorite era is definitely 2112 - Signals. 2112, Farewell to Kings and Hemispheres are probably my favorite Rush records.

I´m TLDR-reviewing all Rush studio albums in order: Hold Your Fire (1987) - 2/5 stars submitted by popculture to music

Lyrics might be good, but even Alex himself has said that musical pieces like "Tai Shan" are corny. Neil Peart has always written great lyrics, no doubt about it. For me Hold The Fire sounds dated and feels like the guys just wanted to experiment with brand new revolutionary eighties synthesizers in studio. I stay on my 2 / 5 rating, but everybody is entitled to their opinion :)
