The MSM Would Have You Believe That She Was Sexually Harassed... Does That Make Sense to You? submitted by Gowdy to whatever

I've seen sexier leather couches.

Remember the Barbary slave trade submitted by thealtright to European

Remember this:

The Ambassador answered us that it was founded on the Laws of their Prophet,1 that it was written in their Koran, that all nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as Prisoners, and that every Musselman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise. source

Notice that they even try to distract with the footnote "1. Transcript reads “profit.” lke Koran is not clear enough that they are talking about mohammad.

Trying to make Jefferson seem pro-islam, aka re-writing history:

Thomas Jefferson and the fascinating history of Founding Fathers defending Muslim rights

The Founding Fathers and Islam: Library Papers Show Early Tolerance for Muslim Faith

No. That is not how it went down. Thomas Jefferson and then James Madison fought wars against the muslims because you can't treat with them. ("Dey Omar Agha, the ruler of Algeria, repudiated the US treaty, refused to accept the terms of peace that had been ratified by the Congress of Vienna")

Hello other user.

The tribes opposing the Dakota Access Pipeline are back in court, arguing that the pipeline could contaminate their drinking water, & that building it violates their religious freedoms, submitted by Kannibal to news

I posted this somewhere else:

Amid a North American energy boom and a lack of pipeline capacity, crude oil shipping on rail is suddenly increasing. The trains are getting bigger and towing more and more tanker cars. From 1975 to 2012, trains were shorter and spills were rare and small, with about half of those years having no spills above a few gallons ( Then came 2013, in which more crude oil was spilled in U.S. rail incidents than was spilled in the previous thirty-seven years. source

The oil is going to flow and a pipeline might be the safer way to transport it.

This is about 3.5hrs from the Standing Rock protests: story pic

Pipelines have spills as well, but it's weird that no one is protesting trains. Why don't the native people care about trains?

Once a day, a train carrying crude oil from North Dakota's Bakken oil fields rumbles through Bismarck, N.D., just a stone's throw from a downtown park. source

This is 1hr from the protest site and it crosses the same river, yet no protests.

Are the train companies/investors paying for the protests?
