Or, better yet, we shouldn't be sending the Israelis any money or weapons. They can take care of themselves.

Barack Obama tells Jon Stewart the economy, 'by every metric, is better' than when he took office submitted by FreeSpeachRocks to news

paperback_writer 6 points -5 points (+1|-6) ago

My family got rich off the Obama economy. We bet the figurative farm in 2009 and now we have two and a half farms. We've had six years of one of the greatest bull markets in history, unemployment is under 6 percent and people who couldn't get insurance have and option to get medical care. Considering all Republicans had done is complain, accuse and obstruct, I'd like to see anyone who could have done a better job.

Change your gun laws, America submitted by ammfitness to news

paperback_writer 6 points -4 points (+2|-6) ago

That's such nonsense. Every other industrial country on the planet has tougher gun laws and none of them, that's ZERO, have been taken over by oppressive governments. Canada, the U.K., France, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Australia, Japan...not taken over. And the countries with the least government control, places like Somalia, where you can buy any kind of gun or rocket launcher you can imagine, is one of the biggest crapholes on the planet. But no amount of contrary evidence ever makes a dent in your talking points. It's always the same bullshit lines.
