Study Says Pretty Women Love Being Straight submitted by RedditDead2005-2015 to science

Less exciting than you'd think.

Women, on average, are aroused by the emotional connection. This is why (again, on average) women prefer romance novels. This is also why lesbians have relatively little focus on physical attraction- being pretty just isn't all that required to be sexually successful.

Men on average though, are visual- most guys like porn. Due to this, gay guys have to be hot to be sexually successful.

This also explains why it's more normal to see an attractive girl with an unattractive guy than it is to see an attractive guy with an unattractive girl.

I don't know what flight you were on that they charged you for water and chips, Southwest is known for being cheap tightwads and they give you free water and chips.

Every time I hear about how pregnant mothers need to be basically immobile I wonder, what do they think humans did 10,000 years ago when they got pregnant? They sure as hell didn't hang out in a cave for 9 months, and humans have not changed super radically in the last 10,000 years.

Lard beast declares anything under a size 8 "damaging". Size 14-16 is average these days! submitted by Kayfeldspar to fatpeoplehate

Average vs. Mode. It's much easier to be 200lb overweight than it is to be 200lb underweight, meaning the average is always going to be skewed far towards fatness. That said, the mode, the most common size, is IIRC a size 10-11 whereas the average size is a 14-16.
